Bouncy Castle Hire on the North Shore
Blast Entertainment has been hiring bouncy castles across Auckland for over 25 years, and the North Shore is one of our busiest areas. Most of what we deliver here goes into a backyard for a birthday, with school galas and hall events making up the rest. We bring everything out, set it up, and come back at the end of the day to pack it down.
Delivery across the North Shore
Delivery is $35 to Devonport, Takapuna, Belmont, Hauraki, Northcote, Birkdale, Beach Haven, Glenfield, Hillcrest, Forrest Hill, Castor Bay, Campbells Bay, Mairangi Bay, Browns Bay, Torbay, Long Bay, Albany, Fairview Heights, Greenhithe and Bayview. Dairy Flat, Gulf Harbour and Manly are $45.
That covers our own crew bringing everything out, setting it up and anchoring it correctly for the surface it is going on, and returning at the end of your hire to pack it down. Backyard birthdays
Nearly half the North Shore bookings we take are backyard parties at home, which makes space the first thing to think about. Shore sections are often tighter than they look once you allow room to walk around the outside of a castle.
The one we send out more than any other on the Shore is the 4 x 5 multi-themed bouncy castle with slide, followed by the 4x4. Both fit a standard section comfortably. If the lawn is small or there are trees and fences in the way, the 3x3 is the smallest full-size castle we run, and the toddler castles are smaller again - worth a look if the guests are all under five, and they will fit indoors if the weather turns. If you have the room, the Carnival 4n1 and the Pirate Ship combo are the two that get the biggest reaction.

School galas and hall events
Schools and kindergartens are a big part of what we do on the Shore, along with community halls and church events. We are set up for gala days - multiple units, obstacle courses and the bigger slides - and we handle the delivery, setup and pack down around your running order.
If you are setting up indoors, ceiling height is the one hard limit. Most of our castles need a minimum of 4m of clear height and 4.5m is better. If the hall is lower than that the toddler range only needs 2m, so there is almost always something that will work. Measure before you book and tell us the venue.
Castle, candy floss and seating together
Most bookings here are not just a castle. Candy floss and popcorn machines and kids folding tables and chairs are the things people add most often, and they work out cheaper bundled than booked separately.

Setting up in a park
If you are planning to set up in a public park or reserve rather than at home or in a hall, Auckland Council may require an event permit. Their event permit checker will tell you whether yours does.
