What size are the Bouncy Castles that you hire? And how much space do we need?
Our Bouncy castles range from 3 x 3m in size and can be as big as
We recommend that you have at least 1/2 meter space around the castle, so for a 3 x 3m castle we would need at least 3.5 x 3.5m. Each of our Bouncy Castle pages state their sizing and room required for your booking and planning ease.
How much does it cost to hire a bouncy castle in the Auckland region?
Prices start from $130. The prices vary depending on the size and type of bouncy castle. Our range of over 50 bouncy castles allows hire options for all age groups, budgets and event sizes. Also, all our prices include delivery, set-up, pack-down and removal of the bouncy castle within the Auckland metropolitan area.
What is the age you need to be to go on the bouncy castles?
Our smaller bouncy castles are suitable for children 6 years old and younger, our medium castles are recommended for 12 years old and younger and we also have bouncy castles for teenagers and adults.
Is there a weight or number of people limit to go on the bouncy castles?
Small bouncy castles are suitable for up to 8 children at one time, medium bouncy castles are suitable for up to 12 children at a time.

What is the height of the Bouncy Castles?
Small bouncy castles are 3.2m tall. Our 4m x 4m bouncy castles and slide castles are 4.3m tall and our bigger bouncy castles are 5m tall. Each of the bouncy castles individual page on our site will state their individual height and room required.
What is the latest time you stay out?
We require that the castles are picked up by 8pm. However, there are options to have the bouncy castles over night or to have a castle picked up later. Please discuss your needs with us if required.
Do you have insurance? (Can I get a copy?)
Blast Entertainment Hire is fully insured, a copy of policy available on request.
Do I get a receipt?
An invoice can be emailed to you after payment has been made.
Can we book on public holidays?
Yes you can!
Our delivery team takes much needed breaks over the Christmas and New Year period. Any bookings made for the 24th-28th December as well as the 31st - 2nd of January are subject to our ability to staff our roster and the availability of our equipment. This may mean that your first option may not be available or we may be unable to service your booking. If you'd like us to confirm your booking prior to the week of your rental, then please contact our 0800 number and we can expedite this for you
What happens if we cancel our bouncy castle hire?
You can cancel your bouncy castle hire, 7 days prior to delivery. After this, there is a $100 cancellation fee. Blast Entertainment Hire Auckland offers a no cancellation fee for unsafe weather. For this to apply our driver must arrive and assess the area as too dangerous to set up.
How do I make payment?
We accept payment via bank transfer or our online payment system. We also accept via Genoapay and Credit Card.
Can the bouncy castle be set up on concrete?
Absolutely! We use sandbags to weigh the bouncy castle down and we place mats in front of the castle for safety.
Can the bouncy castle go in a park?
Yes! We do not charge any extra to set up in a park, however you may need to get permission from the park or centre to have a bouncy castle at your event. If there is no power supply you will need to also rent or provide a generator.
Delivery Policy
The cost of delivering to a particular area will be revealed when you choose this area. We may be able to deliver outside the areas available on our website. If you are outside of the areas shown on our website, please contact us to see if we can help you out.
Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location, or if we are waived off before arriving to assess the conditions.
